I am searching for a Country Manager ready to run with the opportunity that is in front of them, becoming the first employee of what will become of the Company's entity in Indonesia. This role will report to the Global Sales Director in London. With a large degree of autonomy, you will quickly become the face of the company across Indonesia.

The client is a highly respected European manufacturer of bespoke folding bikes, each bike being hand made in the Europe factory. For many owners of their bikes, the brand is part of their lifestyle and an expression of who they are. Their high quality products, combined with the resurgence in cycling, means that they are enjoying strong, sustained revenue growth of 20% over the past 3 years.

Position in Organisation
- Reporting into Global Sales Director based in HQ in London, reporting into the Chief Commercial Officer who sits on the Board.
- Working closely with Asia Sales Manager based in Shanghai who has responsibility for other SE Asia markets
- Working with Asia Operations Manager and Asia Sales Operations Exec based in Shanghai
- Working with functional experts & teams based in HQ - including Marketing, Customer Service, Finance, Operations, HR, Ecommerce and retail.
- Engaging with other Group Global Directors and Chief Officers
Responsibilities
- Responsible for overall country business performance in the country
- Company representative and the spokesperson for Company in Indonesia
- Responsible for building Company's brand in Indonesia
- Coordinate with local dealership to set-up all policies and procedures to ensure full compliance with the corporate guideline
- Deliver annual operation, business development to meet the company KPI and financial objective
- Oversee the hiring and training of staff in Indonesia, which includes staff selection, training development, scheduling and ongoing professional development of employees
- Responsible in setting up subsidiary company in Indonesia
- Developing and expanding dealer network throughout Indonesia
- Directing and overseeing dealer annual sales performance
- Feeding information to colleagues in Marketing, Design and Purchasing to develop future strategy
- Gathering market, competitor and customer data whilst executing pro
Profile
A confident, self-assured, innovative leader, bringing forward a broad skill-set, with relevant experience developed managing multi-channel sales - a prerequisite. You shall be highly numerate and analytical, results focused and especially organised, a self motivated individual that works effectively and efficiently remotely and can deliver
Solid bicycle industry knowledge and experience is desired, though applicants from lifestyle brand/products shall be considered. Of most significance is your commercial capability, ability to build and manage your business and team.
Additionally, you will be very well networked, personabe (able to develop business relationships at all levels quickly and effectively), resourceful and most importantly, entrepreneurial.
