- Manage and implement underwriting process and market all products for clients/brokers to achieve the target. Provide recommendation in business process improvement within EESR (Engineering Energy Equipment & Special Risk) Department.
- Manage relationship with customer and support services for clients in order to enhance business with client, and enhance service quality with clients.
- Provide approval for prices and binds insurance with certain limit of authority (coordinate with General Manager for certain limit).
- Provide approval by signing policies document.
- Responsible for ongoing specialist risk (caps treaty, facultative placement).
- Provide appropriate control in business production (GWP).
- Maintain relationship with brokers by continous communication and business visit.
- Assist EESR General Manager in developing and evaluating EESR team .
- Manage and coordinate daily activities of EESR team.
- Provide daily guidance and problem solving for EESR team.
Requirements :
- Minimum D3 Insurance, have specific underwriting certification (AAIK, AAAIK) would be an advantage.
- Relevant exposure as underwriters in insurance company, minimum 4 years.
- Leadership Skills.
- Team Management Skills.
- Underwriting process in EESR area.
- Analytical thinking.
- Sales and Marketing skills.
- Negotiation and placement of risks with external parties to secure business.
- English Communication Skills.
- Persistent.
- Attention to detail.
- Comfortable with complex issues.
