The position targets as a member of the management team, lead the team, development and implementation of Supply Chain Strategy to support market goals and financial objectives

Consequently, they are looking to bring on board a dynamic Supply Chain Manager who can assist the business at a time of rapid growth and make a key contribution to the business.
Description
- Responsible for the overall management of the supply chain functions from operations, logistics/warehouse, export/import, demand and supply planning, and customer service
- Leading Supply Chain improvement projects and the ownership of those business case outcomes
- Manage inventory and establishes controls to ensure company is operating at the highest level of performance based on key performance metrics and minimized supply chain risk
- Develop strategies, policies, procedures, and overall team to optimize value of the entire function in creating a world class materials management group
- Participate in existing and new product planning processes to assure timely acquisition of materials to support product launches
- Develop and manage departmental budgets accordingly
- Establishes annual goals and objectives, (including stretch targets) in coordination with corporate objectives, and manages performance to ensure attainment
- Ensure right quality of demand & supply planning, inventory planning and customer experience
Profile
- Minimum 15 years of working experience in a Supply Chain Manager capacity within an international environment with demonstrated ability in leading an effective and high-performing team
- Master or Bachelor degree in Economics, Business, Operations/Logistics (supply chain related major)
- Demonstrated success in managing a large team
- Competencies required: leadership skills, dealing with ambiguity, adapting to change, priority setting, collaboration, influential, innovative, simplicity
- Demonstrated understanding of general manufacturing and demand driven supply chain
- In-depth understanding of supply chain processes including warehousing & logistics, customer service
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to interact effectively with all stakeholders
- Systems and computer skills: SAP, Advanced MS Office (eg: Excel, Powerpoint, Access)
- Strong written and spoken communication skills in both local and English languages
- Proven track record in strategic agility and operational excellence
