Responsibilities:
· Proactively improve Purchasing processes, supplier selection and development to support above.
· Manage Supplier performance and create action plans to address those that under perform.
· Continuously review the role of Purchasing and communicate its role to other departments in the company.
· Ensure that all Purchasing transactions are conducted ethically
· Evaluate suppliers based on cost, quality, service, availability, reliability, and selection variety.
· Able to search for the highest quality merchandise at the lowest possible purchase cost for their employers.
Requirements:
· Have a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration / Engineering from reputable University.
· Minimum GPA is 3.00.
· Having experience in Purchasing minimum 10 (ten) years in the same field (with minimum 5(five) years in management level) preferably from contractors / developers
· Must have a strong leadership especially to manage purchasing staff.
· A self-motivated team player, able to communicate clearly with colleagues at all levels.
· A proven ability to effect change, with passion and commitment to inspire others to work towards a common plan, achieving tangible results.
· Able to contribute at a strategic level in developing operations and other aspect of the business.
· Have experiences in managing importing material.
· Excellent ability in material planning, negotiating skill and communication.
