LIBRARIAN

Job Responsibilities:

• Under the direction and supervision of the Principal, the Librarian provides a wide variety of library and technical services.  This includes information and reference services, readers’ advisory, presenting programs, collection management, and cataloging a wide variety of materials.
• Maintaining communication with students and staffs
• Supporting school activities
• Supporting the Principal in implementation of strategic and operational objectives of Ichthus

Person Specifications
EDUCATION

• Bachelor Degree majoring in library studies or any relevant disciplines

EXPERIENCE

• Experience as Librarian at school

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Has experience working in a library media center preferred
• Has excellent written and oral English and Indonesian skills  
• Able to demonstrates attention to detail and high accuracy
• Able to demonstrates cataloguing knowledge and skills
• Has excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Computer literacy : MS Office, Senayan Library System (SLIMS)
• Has the willingness to improve and learn continuously
• Must have positive attitude, energetic, self motivation, analytical, conceptual, administrative skill and
• Able to build and manage relationship with colleagues, team, and students
• Able to manage multiple priorities and handle unexpected situations professionally and successfully
• Able to put effective and efficient system in place and produce accurate and timely reporting
• Familiar with technology (computer-literate)
• Creative, passionate, enthusiastic, warm, and approachable
