Our client is a growing agribusiness tech-based company. A very well respected player boasting a strong track record historically. Consequently, they are looking to bring on board a dynamic Head of Supply Chain who can assist the business at a time of rapid growth and make a key contribution to the business.
Description
- Responsible for the overall management of the supply chain functions including demand and supply planning
- Leading Supply Chain improvement projects and the ownership of those business case outcomes
- Establishes controls to ensure company is operating at the highest level of performance and minimized supply chain risk
- Develop strategies, policies, procedures, and overall team to optimize value of the entire function
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and ethical standards related to procurement
- Develop and manage departmental budgets accordingly
- Establishes annual goals and objectives, in coordination with corporate objectives, and manages performance to ensure attainment
- Keep detailed records, generate reports, and develop presentations to help management understand the logistics perspective
- Assist logistics process for the development of new products, inventory maintenance, manufacturing, shipment and delivery, and returns on products
Profile
- Minimum 10 years of working experience in a Head of Supply Chain capacity within FMCG environment with demonstrated ability in leading an effective and high-performing team
- Master or Bachelor degree in Economics, Business, Operations/Logistics (supply chain related major)
- Competencies required: leadership skills, dealing with ambiguity, adapting to change, priority setting, collaboration, influential, innovative, simplicity
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to interact effectively with all stakeholders
- Strong written and spoken communication skills in both local and English languages
- Proven track record in strategic agility and operational excellence
