The person is going to be on the highest level of Legal function, who is reporting directly to the Board of Directors and will be trusted to manage a team of subordinates. Responsible for the overall legal matters and decision, and manage the relationship with other shared service organizations.

Leading local palm oil plantation and mill company, in which also actively engaged in the palm oil trading business in domestic and non-domestic markets across 11 subsidiaries. The company serves the purchase and sale of Palm Kernel, Palm Kernel Oil, and Palm Kernel Meal to meet industrial needs in Indonesia and across Asia and Africa countries.
Description

Providing legal assistance to the Company and/or its subsidiaries;

Drafting and reviewing agreements in any matters, controlling company documents validations;

Provide legal considerations to the BOD, Shareholders and All Manager Level for the Operations of the company as well as Legal Action or an agreements between the company and others parties;

Review, analyze and evaluate corporate affairs, litigations industrial relationships, anti-fraud & compliance and submitted to each department;

Giving legal support and advice to BOD and each Department;

Preparing for mergers and acquisitions, when necessary;

Coordination by the office of a notary, government agencies and lawyers about / interest concerns companies and superintend straightly as well as legal document;

Legal Opinion;

Legal Due Diligence;
- Legal Service/Multitasking;
- Legal Permit/license;
Profile
-
Proficient in Bahasa Indonesia and English

Degree in Law or equivalent discipline
-
Minimum of 7 years of experience in relevant roles

Experience in similar industries, such as: Plantation and agribusiness, natural resources, mining, oil and gas and feed mill, would be preferable
-
Experience in Law Firm would be preferable

Must have travel flexibility
