    Business Development Manager will focus on developing the business using B2B approach and ensure that more sectors are joining the technological advancement wave. Particularly, in expanding the market of neuro-science and AI utilization in disrupting the market research industry.

    Client Details

    Our client is one of the pioneer in the country that introduced a disruptive market research technology utilizing the AI, virtual reality and neuro-marketing approach in producing more accurate insights when informing a business decision. The product of our client is ensuring a high quality insights and able to track the market trend by looking at subconscious responses of the market with the technology they developed. In the light of introducing the future of market research practices to more companies in the region, our client has made the Business Development Manager role available. This role is expected to be filled by someone who possesses a knowledge and experience in the market research companies and a strong business acumen in seeing opportunities in the market.

    Description

    Business Development Manager role has some key responsibilities as listed below:

    • To search and develop new market or business opportunities
    • To developing contacts and maintain good relationships with Clients (existing and future prospective/potential) through respective functions or responsible contacts
    • To acquire new clients by performing cold call, attending networking session, direct connections etc
    • To liaise with the Head of Business Development and related department in preparing company's presentation materials (brochures, leaflets / flyers for marketing and promotion activities to prospective Clients)
    • To conduct review and analysis about losing clients and report it to the Management
    • To perform the front liner function and represent the company to the Client and relevant parties (i.e. in the project negotiation phase)
    • To undertake any other duties as the Hierarchy may assign from time to time

    Profile

    This role is open for Indonesian candidates and based in Jakarta. For you to be a successful applicant, you need to have a demonstrated track record in business development and market research background. We are looking for a candidate who is fully aware and understand the technical process of market research and able to map the potential clients within this sector as well as projecting which type of clients incline to use this advancement of technology. In addition the candidate should be:

    • Min. bachelors degree qualification
    • At least 4 years of experience in market research companies (Other desired industry experiences: SaaS, technology company with B2B selling position)
    • Proficiency in English (Business)
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Internet
    • Demonstrate an ability to identify business opportunities
    • Ability to negotiate and great presentation skill
